MEETING REGISTRATION & 2011 MEMBERSHIP

CLICK HERE to register for the 2010 SDA meeting in Knoxville, or to join SDA for 2011 if you cannot attend in Knoxville.

Members register for the meeting via a web form. You will have the option of paying by credit card via Paypal, or by putting a check in the mail.

If you choose to pay by web/credit card, you will be taken to Paypal's website to complete the payment. Please do not register for membership or for the meeting with the web payment option unless you intend to use your credit card to make an immediate payment. The aim of the web system is to make it easy for members to join and pay; it is not intended as a reserve now/pay later system for the meeting.

HOTEL INFORMATION

Conference room rates of $96/night ($106 for a room with a king bed) are available until Sep 15th. All reservations should be made by September 15. After that time, you may get the SDA rate, but it is not guaranteed.

You can make your reservation online, or call the hotel at 865.522.2600.

KNOXVILLE

Getting around downtown Knoxville is easy. Almost everything is walking distance to the hotel. If you don’t wish to walk, the Knoxville Area Transit trolley comes by the front door of the hotel about every ten minutes (less frequently on Saturday). Riding the KAT trolley is free, and you can take the Orange Line trolley to the University of Tennessee and to points around downtown.

Dining and drinking options are plentiful in and around the Crowne Plaza. The graduate students at the University of Tennessee will provide a dining guide as well as a bar guide to places within walking distance of the hotel.

There are many things to do in Knoxville for your spouses and children who may not be so interested in your latest demographic findings. They should feel free to email the Local Arrangements Chair, Stephanie Bohon at sbohon@utk.edu to ask for suggestions.
